TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), outlined on this page, apply if you use our website (“Sites”) and/or purchase products ("Service") from DMC Ventures Ltd t/a Stylus Vinyl. Any new features or tools which are added to our Sites shall also be subject to the Terms. You can review the most current version of these Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of our Sites and Services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
The term ‘DMC Ventures Ltd’ or 'Stylus Vinyl' or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or 'our' refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 16 Whitehall Close, Borehamwood, WD6 1GL; our company registration number is 09406217 in England & Wales; our VAT number is 234134245. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of our Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services and potential pursuit of legal action where appropriate.
Pursuant to the Licensing Act 2003 and Licensing Scotland Act 2005, it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, intoxicating liquor, or for any person over the age of 18 to buy intoxicating liquor on behalf of any person under the age of 18.
We are committed to upholding both legal and social obligations as a retailer of intoxicating liquor. The company has control checks throughout the purchase and distribution process. During any part of the process, if there is any doubt of the legal age of recipient, we reserve the right to request proof of identity and proof of age. The valid forms of identification which we accept are: Passport, Photographic Driving Licence or PASS approved I.D. card
A Challenge 25 policy shall be adopted at the company premises and we will request all partnering companies operating on our behalf (e.g. couriers) to do the same. In accordance with this policy, anybody who appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to provide evidence of proof of age. If proof is not provided or if there is any doubt about the I.D., the sale or delivery of alcohol shall be refused.
Alcohol can only be purchased through our website. When making a purchase of alcohol from DMC Ventures Ltd t/a Stylus Vinyl you are accepting these Terms & Conditions and you agree to provide us truthful and accurate information.
SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
All payments made on our Sites are taken and managed by our payment processor Stripe. By providing your credit card details you are confirming that you are either the card holder, or that you have permission from the card holder. For your own safety we reserve the right to contact your card issuer for the purposes of carrying out security checks. We will securely store your details but we will never take payment from your card unless you authorise us to do so. By purchasing a subscription, you are authorising us to re-bill and take payment from the card provided on your renewal date.
All subscriptions renew automatically for the same period as the initial subscription. For example, at the end of a 3-Month subscription you will be auto renewed for another 3-Month subscription. You can change your subscription type or cancel a subscription by logging into your account and visiting the ‘My Account’ section of the website or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. To avoid renewal, you will need to change or cancel your subscription by midnight on the last day of the month prior to the renewal. For example, if you do not wish to receive or pay for a subscription in October, then you will need to have made the changes to your account by the 30th of September.
We reserve the right to cancel any orders we cannot fulfill for any reason. If your order is cancelled we will contact you to explain why and refund any money you have paid us for that order.
We currently deliver to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and Italy. Shipping charges are calculated and added to your order at checkout depending on the shipping address that was provided. When your order is ready for shipping, you will receive a message from our courier regarding your delivery options. In accordance with our Age Verification policy, we cannot leave packages unattended (i.e. in a 'safe place'), so our couriers will need to deliver to a person at least 18 years of age. As most deliveries will occur between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday, we suggest that you set your shipping address to your place of employment if possible. Otherwise you will need to ensure that someone is at home or specify a neighbor, also at least 18 years of age, who will be able to receive the delivery for you.
If your order goes missing, between dispatch and delivery, we will send you a replacement order as soon as we can. If your order arrives but is damaged, you must contact us within 3 days at email@example.com including provision of photographic evidence of the damage, so that we can work with our suppliers to obtain and send you a replacement for the damaged goods as soon as possible. If for some reason we are unable to send replacement goods, we will issue you a refund.
When you purchase a product from us you are automatically registered on our website and provided an account for which we collect personal information about you to enable us to process and deliver your order. By registering on our website, you consent to us maintaining, recording, holding and using the personal data we collect about you. This includes the use of statistics about your usage of the website (“clicks”), gathered using technologies provided by our software partners. The information provided is used to deliver and improve our service to you. This information may also be used to send offers and information which we feel will be of interest to you. If you would prefer not to receive these e-mails please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to opt out. If you opt-out of marketing emails from us, you will only be contacted by us regarding service issues including, but not exclusively, order confirmation and delivery confirmation, significant changes to terms and conditions and other non-marketing e-mails.
Any information that you give us will never be given or sold to any other organisation under any circumstance without your express permission except to (1) our online payment provider in connection with processing your order, (2) couriers and other subcontractors for the purpose of fulfilling your order and (3) our website and software partners for the purposes of managing and maintaining our Sites. All partner organisations are under strict obligation to keep your personal information private. Any details which you provide to us from which we can identify you are held and processed lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
